Day 1 – Arrival to Rio Mutum (D)
Pick-up at the airport (Mato Grosso) and immediate transfer to the comfortable lodge. Pousada Rio Mutum is a wonderful resort with a swimming pool, located in the magnificent Pantanal nature. You will be acquainted with the rich program of the following three days and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 2 – Pantanal (B, L, D)
The morning starts with a horse ride through the flooding fields. The horse is the most versatile means of transportation, allowing both the crossing of the flood plain and access to the distant forests. The ‘Pantaneiro’ horse is extremely docile. Other animals are so used to it that they don’t perceive the rider on the horse. After lunch a jeep will take you to the wilderness. During this safari there are many stops to observe its rich fauna. Return to the lodge.

Day 3 – Pantanal (B, L, D)
You will set out early in the morning after breakfast to the wilderness (trek) with a guide. Take the opportunity to relax a bit after lunch before you board on a boat. You will observe the local fauna and flora all the afternoon till the sunset when animals become most active. Dinner and overnight in the lodge.

Day 4 – Pantanal – departure (B)
Today is a canoe (rowing boats) trip on the programme. You have to get up early because this trip is made for observation of the wildlife waking in Pantanal. Breakfast will be served after your return from this excursion. Your vacation in Pantanal draws to an end. You will be driven back to the city to continue with your travels.
