TOUR DESCRIPTION
Iguazu Falls is undoubtedly one of the most imposing natural attractions in Argentina. In Guarani language, the term “Iguazú” means “great waters”. The waterfall system consists of 275 falls along 2.7 kilometres (1.67 miles) of the Iguazu River in a half moon where cliffs and islets are scattered. Some of the individual falls are up to 82 meters (269 ft) in height. Apart from waterfalls, the jungle offers a series of alternatives in a damp but slightly fresher environment with a wide variety of animals and plants. Prepare to get soaking wet from the spray of the falls on numerous occasions. But it is an unforgettable experience for your eyes and ears.
Day 1 – Iguazú, Brazilian side
Arrival in Iguazú and take a regular transfer from the airport to the hotel with an English speaking guide. A visit to the Brazilian side of the falls is waiting for you! You will go for a walk through the subtropical forest and you will be able to enjoy incredible panoramic views of the falls including the Devils Throat. The thunderous roaring at the foot of the falls can be heard from miles away. Overnight in Puerto Iguazú, standard room.
Day 2 – Iguazú – Argentinean side (B)
Today enjoy a full day regular tour to the Argentinean side of the falls with an English speaking guide visiting the three main paths: the upper and lower paths as well as the Devil´s Throat. The Argentinean side provides an intimate touch with the falls. Compared to the Brazilian spectacular panoramic view, the Argentinean side has the best and most varied up-close views of the falls. A zodiac navigation boat that gets really close to the falls is an optional experience for adventurers. Overnight in Puerto Iguazú.
Day 3 – Iguazú (B)
Finally, regular transfer with English assistance to the airport after breakfast for continuation of your travels.
