The Atacama Desert, the driest desert in the world, opens the doors for us to the North of Chile. Recognized as the archaeological centre of Chile, San Pedro de Atacama invites the visitor to know its desert landscape, the archaeology and ethnography of the country, the architecture of the towns and to enjoy its matchless and wonderful attractive natural and cultural sites, including the Valley of the Moon, Salar de Atacama, and geysers El Tatio. The diversity of Hispanic cultures and places of interest have turned it into one of the favorite destinations of Chile for the foreign travelers. Day 1 – San Pedro, The Valley of the Moon
Reception at Calama airport and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. In the afternoon, there is an excursion to the Valley of the Moon to admire spectacular rock formations, Cordillera de la Sal, Valle de la Muerte and the possibility of admiring a magnificent sunset. Return to San Pedro. Lodging.

Day 2 – Miscanti and Miñiques Lakes, Los Flamencos NP, Salar de Atacama (B, L)
Breakfast in the hotel starts the day. Visits to lakes Miscanti and Miñiques. Lunch at Socaire. We will also visit the Atacama Salt Flats, Los Flamencos National Reserve, Toconao, San Lucas church, Torre Campanario, Chaxas Lagoon, to admire three out of the six different kinds of flamingos existing worldwide. Return to San Pedro. Lodging.

Day 3 – Tulor, Auktor, Cejar Lake, Ojos del Salar (B)
You will experience today after breakfast a full day trip to other sights worth seeing the desert. First of all, you visit the circular dwellings at Tulor, Ayllu at Coyo and the defensive fortresses at Quitor. In the afternoon, you move on to Cejar Lake, a sink hole lake with a 40% concentration of salt, and Ojos del Salar. Return to San Pedro. Lodging.

Day 4 – El Tatio, Pukara de Lasana, Chiu Chiu (L)
Early in the morning, journey will continue for another top attraction: El Tatio Geysers, the world’s highest geyser field, which erupts each day at dawn, creating strange mineral formations and spouting clouds of steam up to 10 metres high. Time will be allowed for natural pools. Return to San Pedro for lunch, followed by a visit to Chiuchiu, Pukara de Lasana. Transfer to Calama airport for flight back to Santiago. End of our services.
